To enroll in a PACE program, you must be:

• age 55 or older
• reside in the PACE organization’s service area
• be certified as eligible for nursing home care in NC and
• be able to live safely in a community setting at the time of enrollment.

About the MAp

PACE providers are currently operating in certain counties within NC and are also planning to expand within the state in the coming years.  The map provides a colorful view of where PACE centers are located and also indicates counties planned for PACE expansion such as Craven, Jones, Pamlico, portions of Beaufort, Carteret, Lenoir, Onslow in the eastern portion of the state and Forsyth, Stokes, Surry in the northwestern part of the state. Expansion counties are not operational however work is taking place to make them operational within the next several years.
