Membership

We have three types of membership levels with the NC PACE Association. 


Provider

Learn More About the Provider Membership

A PACE Provider Member is an operational PACE organization, (i) defined as one with an executed contract with the state of North Carolina, (ii) operates its PACE program in the State of North Carolina: (iii) is a member of the National PACE Association and (iv) meets such additional qualifications as may be established by the Board of Directors. A PACE Provider Member organization has voting privileges and is entitled to representation on the Association's Board of Directors.


Affiliate

Learn More About the Affiliate Membership

An Affiliate Membership is an organization or professional interested in the objectives of the NC PACE Association and provides or offers products or services to our members. They must not be an excluded organization, individual, or professional that participates in state or federally funded programs. The Affiliate Member will have no voting rights and shall not be entitled to representation on the Corporation’s Board of Directors.

  • Annual meet and greet opportunity with PACE Program Directors & key PACE Program Leadership to be held at the NC PACE Association conference.
  • One Exhibitor Booth at Annual NC PACE Association Conference or cost of Exhibiting discounted from Sponsorship Tiers.
  • One Vendor presentation opportunity at an Association Board meeting.
  • Company logo and information included on the NC PACE Association Website.
  • Quarterly e-spotlight to be included in NC PACE Association newsletter.
  • Access to contact list for the executive staff at all NC PACE organizations.

Associate

Learn More About the Associate Membership

An Associate Member is an individual or entity which is engaged in activities related to the objectives and purposes of the Corporation.  Associate Members may include but shall not be limited to the following:

  1. A developing PACE organization which is awarded a designated service area within the state of North Carolina and is also a member of the National PACE Association.  To so qualify, developing PACE Organizations must provide the Association with written proof of state market allocation as assigned by the State of North Carolina.  Developing PACE organizations are entitled to representation on the Corporation's Board of Directors, but do not have voting privileges.  Upon becoming an operational PACE organization, such Member shall notify the Board of Directors of such operations and upon acknowledgement and approval of the Board of Directors shall become a PACE Provider Member.  Such Member shall then be subject to the dues for PACE Provider membership class as established by the Board of Directors as provided herein.
  2. An organization that is exploring the development of a PACE program within North Carolina.  Exploring Members do not have voting privileges and shall not be entitled to representation on the Corporation's Board of Directors. 
  3. An operational PACE organization in North Carolina that is not a member of the National PACE Association.  A PACE organization in North Carolina that is not a member of the National PACE Association does not have voting privileges and may not be entitled to representation on the Corporation’s Board of Directors.
  4. An operational PACE organization, defined as one with an executed contract and full operating authority, in a state other than North Carolina.  A PACE organization not operating within North Carolina does not have voting privileges and shall not be entitled to representation on the Corporation's Board of Directors.
  5. A nonprofit organization that supports the mission of PACE and does not provide products or services to our members. Supporting nonprofit organizations do not have voting privileges and shall not be entitled to representation on the Corporation's Board of Directors.
  6. A specialist in education or research relating to aging and/or disability.  A specialist does not have voting privileges and shall not be entitled to representation on the Corporation's Board of Directors.
