Please join us for a special Gratitude Webinar this November. Let's face it, life can be a challenge and 2020 has been no exception. It may well go down in history as one of the most interesting and unexpected years of our lives! With it came much uncertainty, and how we have faced that all that uncertainty is what will have led us toward hopefulness or overwhelm. Where are you at today, are you feeling overwhelmed?
You are not alone, but thankfully, there is a path toward hopefulness that is much easier to walk than many people realize... the path is gratitude. Our friends in the field of positive psychology are finding that our brains are capable of neuroplasticity. That means that when we choose to focus on gratitude and appreciation, instead of embracing negative emotions, our brains can actual be rewired. We can literally change the way we think!
Toni Hively, Chair of the Education Committee will host the Gratitude Webinar. She’ll be joined by Rev. Chuck DeGroat, Senior CommUnity Care of NC, PACE-NC, Center Director, with his thoughts on Gratitude. In addition, Joanne Turner from Pace-@-Home will show us how to create our own Gratitude Journal!
We look forward to sharing this time and appreciating gratitude before the holiday rush.
