Introducing Lynette Rivenbark Tolson, Executive Director of NC PACE Association

We are thrilled to announce the selection of a new Executive Director to lead the North Carolina PACE Association (NCPA). After a nearly year-long process, the NCPA board and executive search committee has chosen Lynette Rivenbark Tolson to serve as the organization’s new executive director!

Lynette began her tenure as Executive Director on March 5th. Lynette joins the NCPA with more than 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Prior to accepting this position, she was the Executive Director of the Public Health Associations of NC (NC Alliance of Public Health Agencies, NC Association of Local Health Directors and NC Public Health Association) for 12.5 years. She is originally from Duplin County and has experience in both nonprofit and government. Her background includes serving as Director of Government Relations for the American Heart Association and the Legislative Liaison for the NC Department of Health & Human Services. Lynette has a BS in Political Science from East Carolina University.

“I am excited to work with our PACE members in this new role,” said Tolson. “The growth of PACE Centers across North Carolina are essential to helping older adults maintain their independence in their homes and communities.” Dave Beijer, NCPA Board Chair, believes this is a natural next step for the association. “Lynette’s experience and education will be a great asset to the organization and will build off of the great momentum that is already put in place for us.” Join us in welcoming Lynette to the NCPA!
