Serving as the credible voice and leader to advance PACE, thereby transforming healthcare in North Carolina

About Us

PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) provides comprehensive health care and services that allow individuals 55 years and older who qualify for nursing level of care to remain in the community with their family and friends. NC PACE Association promotes this proven program and works to expand it so that all North Carolinians have access to PACE services. We know that PACE provides better care, an improved quality of life and is cost-effective.

The Association's Board of Directors consists of representation from each of the member PACE organizations. The Association hired its first Executive Director in 2012.

The first PACE program in North Carolina opened in 2008, and fourteen interested healthcare organizations came together starting in 2010 to form the North Carolina PACE Association. Read more about the beginnings of PACE in the state.

North Carolina PACE Association recognizes organizations for their support of PACE in North Carolina. These entities have been early and consistent supporters of the work of the Association, and we recognize them as Partners in our efforts to improve and grow PACE throughout the state.

The Association is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization. We are funded by the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust, member dues, corporate support and educational program revenue.
