A New Decade. A New Era for PACE. What's YOUR Vision?

It's 2020, and a new decade is dawning for PACE in North Carolina. For the first time in years, programs will have the approval to more forward with new service areas, putting PACE in reach of more of our state's seniors. With a updated and modernized PACE Final Rule finally adopted, programs have new opportunities and flexibility. A sea change is coming for the state as it implements Medicaid Transformation. The PACE 2.0 initiative continues to build momentum for exponential growth across the nation. We can't wait to share this excitement with you.

It's 20/20, and we need that clarity of vision to forge the path for PACE in the new decade. We are focusing like a laser on PACE's mission of providing comprehensive, coordinated and quality care to our community's older adults. Though our participants must be eligible for nursing facility level of care, PACE is successful in keeping almost all of them in their homes … where people want to be. We can do more to serve more - as there are those in need not being served by PACE. But we can't just work harder. We must work more efficiently and effectively, and we have a number of sessions to help you think about doing just that.

The two-day conference features:

  • Speakers from fellow PACE programs and other healthcare experts
  • Concurrent sessions, to choose what is of most interest to you
  • Inspiring and energizing keynote speakers
  • Networking roundtables, to develop relationships with fellow colleagues from across the state
  • Happy hour reception featuring our amazing DJ Steve Wray of Carolina Medical Alerts
  • Breaks to reflect and refresh, networking and visit our exhibitors
  • Opportunity to visit another center, with a site tour to PACE of the Southern Piedmont
  • Awards luncheon, recognizing those that truly go "above and beyond" in PACE
